Lexus GT3 to challenge rivals in GT3 Championship. Styling Concept @ Geneva.
According to the Japanese luxury brand, racing fans around the world will feel the adrenaline when Lexus unveil its RC F GT3 Racing Concept at the 2014 Geneva Show.
The dream-race-car is show style anticipated the Lexus RC F GT3 developed for Group GT3 championships according to FIA standards. As such it comes with a modified version of the base RC F’s V8 aspirated engine, credited of 397 kW (540 HP) for a weight of some 1250 kg. (2,755.8 lbs).
Lexus announced it will supply GT3-compliant*1 vehicles to racing teams starting in 2015, with vehicle testing to start this year. GT3 cars can enter many races globally, such as the 24 Hours of Nürburgring endurance race in Germany and the Super Taikyu Endurance and Super GT series in Japan.

Volvo executives keep marching down the strategic plan announced ahead of the Frankfurt motor show last September and here come the third concept car in a row, on time for a prémiére in Geneva. It is simply called Volvo Concept Estate and, according to the company, attention shold be focused on its interior. It look that of a dream car for motors shows but in reality it is an anticipation of what buyer can get when the new XC90 goes on sale late this year. Textiles and details may not be as sophisticated as in the show-car but the digital technology will all be there.
The students of the long established Istituto Europeo di Design, have responded with a strong performance to the challenged launched to them by the European design centre of Hyundai. In case of need the signature is to be found of the bright orange colour of the body painting, which perfectly match the one to be seen in another show-car unveiled in Geneva by Hyundai.
The partnership will be showing in Geneva the full scale model named “PassoCorto”, Italian for Short Wheel Base”, SWB, a very famous acronym often used by Ferrari and other supercar makers of past times
